Post-hardcore icons letlive. will breathe new life into their acclaimed 2013 album The Blackest Beautiful this Friday, June 13th. The band have announced a newly remixed and remastered edition of the record, titled The Blackest Beautiful Revisited, which also includes two reimagined tracks featuring guest vocal appearances.
The first of those reworks, “The Dope Beat Rendition”, puts a new spin on the original track “The Dope Beat” and features guest vocals from Dan Campbell of The Wonder Years. Elsewhere on the release, Keith Buckley (Many Eyes, ex-Every Time I Die) appears on a fresh version of “27 Club”.
Guitarist Jeff Sahyoun reflected on the project, saying:
“It’s surreal hearing The Blackest Beautiful remastered after all these years. This record meant everything to us, and now it gets to live again in a new light. I couldn’t be more excited to share it with everyone.”
Guitarist Jean Nascimento added:
“The Blackest Beautiful is a lighthouse for those who feel lost in this mad world. It’s an honor for us to give our fans a chance to listen and have a new perspective on this album, one more time.”
Originally disbanding in 2017, letlive. announced their return in 2025 for a farewell run of shows across the U.S., Europe, the UK, and Australia. The tour marks their final sendoff and features support from Last Hounds and Vanna on select dates.

? They put these reworks out back shortly after the album came out… said they were gonna do it for every song, and then just abandoned it after those 2… I’m hoping we at least get the soupy song to the beat he was singing against, and not the way they mixed it originally
