The newly reunited Linkin Park made their first late-night TV appearance as the musical guest on last night’s (September 17th) episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The band is gearing up for the November 15th release of their comeback album From Zero, during which they performed the record’s first single, “The Emptiness Machine.” Vocalist and guitarist Mike Shinoda also participated in an interview segment.
The nü-metal/alternative rock outfit kicked off their comeback earlier this month, with Shinoda, bassist/vocalist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, and turntablist/vocalist Joe Hahn all returning. While guitarist Brad Delson remains a studio member, Alex Feder has stepped in to take his place for live performances. Emily Armstrong now leads the vocals, filling the role previously held by the late Chester Bennington, and drummer Colin Brittain has replaced Rob Bourdon in this revamped lineup.
The band is currently two shows into their world reunion tour and will soon be heading overseas for the following dates:
