WWE has officially welcomed Lizzy Rain to the main stage, as the daughter of legendary Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr made her televised debut on the April 28, 2026 edition of NXT on The CW. The former independent star made her first on-screen entrance to big fanfare, introducing herself as a WWE Superstar.
In her debut match, Lizzy Rain stood tall over Nikkita Lyons, marking an impressive arrival for the London-born talent. The show also featured her entrance jacket, which Rain previously revealed on X belonged to her late uncle Clive Burr.
Rain has spoken openly about her family connection to Clive Burr, Iron Maiden’s original drummer. In a 2023 interview, she said:
“My uncle is Clive Burr, who was the original drummer for Iron Maiden and was on their first three albums, their most famous album, The Number of the Beast. He was the drummer on it, so yeah, a big connection to Iron Maiden. He’s unfortunately dead now. He died at quite a young age of an illness called MS. So I didn’t really get to have these amazing conversations with him about the band and stuff because he was quite ill when I knew him. But yeah, that’s a pretty cool connection. It must run in my family, this whole rock music thing.”
Rain’s debut marks a new chapter in the legacy of a heavy metal bloodline, as she brings her own rock-fueled charisma to the NXT ring.
