ritish metallic hardcore outfit Long Goodbye have unveiled a new music video for their track “my dearly departed” ahead of the release of their upcoming EP, “A Whispered Promise Of Failure.”
The visual was directed by Murry Deaves, known for his work with Employed To Serve and OBEYER, and offers another preview of the band’s forthcoming release.
“A Whispered Promise Of Failure” is set to arrive on July 29, 2026 through Papercut Recordings, marking the latest release from the rising UK heavy act.
The label behind the EP, Papercut Recordings, was launched in the summer of 2025 by Brand Of Sacrifice guitarist Michael Leo Valeri—who also founded Shibori Threads—and Fit For A King bassist/vocalist Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary, who is also involved with Beacon Management.
