Lorna Shore have dropped the official music video for “Glenwood”, a powerful track off their newly released album, I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me. The clip, directed by Dylan Hryciuk, finds vocalist Will Ramos confronting themes of estrangement and reconciliation tied to his relationship with his father.
Speaking on the song, Ramos shared:
“This song has been a very long-time coming for me. In my teens, my father and I never had a great relationship… I never even considered that as I was aging, so was he. I’ve had countless chances to fix things but wasn’t brave enough to actually do it. And now, I will never be able to get that time back.
I wanted to capture that feeling when I wrote this song. My only hope is that when people hear ‘Glenwood,’ they can think about their own lives and the people they’ve pushed away and ask themselves: ‘Is it really worth being upset for this long?’ I believe all we really want is to go back to that special place – a place where nostalgia triumphs over trauma; a place that we can call home.”
The band will hit the road next week for a massive U.S. headlining tour in support of the record, with The Black Dahlia Murder, Shadow Of Intent, and PeelingFlesh on board.
