Newly released pro-shot footage captures Mastodon’s full set from the Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands, on May 27th, 2012. The video has been shared as a tribute to the band’s late guitarist/vocalist Brent Hinds, who tragically passed away on August 20th following a motorcycle accident in Atlanta, GA. He was 51 years old.
Festival organizers released a statement, saying:
“Last week Brent Hinds, guitarist of Mastodon, was killed in a motorcycle accident. To commemorate this great musician, we publish this Mastodon concert at Pinkpop 2012. Rest in peace, Brent.”
