Metallica Expand Las Vegas Sphere Residency With Six Additional Shows Amid Massive Demand

Metallica are already extending their upcoming Las Vegas residency at the Sphere after overwhelming early demand for tickets.

The thrash metal icons officially confirmed last week that they would headline a series of immersive performances at the cutting-edge venue this October under the banner ‘Life Burns Faster’. Now, following the launch of fan club presales today (March 2nd), the band have revealed that six more dates will be added to the run.

In a statement shared with fans, the group acknowledged the rapid sellout pace and confirmed plans for an expanded residency:

“Due to unbelievable demand (wow, guys!) SIX SHOWS are being added to our Life Burns Faster residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. Fan Club Ticket Presale for these six shows will begin on Wednesday, March 4, at 1 PM ET // 10 AM PT.

If you already have a Legacy or Fifth Member code, you can use it to access this new presale. Single-Night Tickets, 2-Night No Repeat Weekend Tickets, Enhanced Experience Tickets, and Travel Packages will be available.

This will not be a staggered presale. Legacy Members and Fifth Members will BOTH have access at the same time, 10 AM PT on Wednesday.

• 10/31 Las Vegas, NV – Sphere

The residency marks another major milestone for Metallica, who continue to explore large-scale live production concepts decades into their career. The Sphere’s fully immersive visual and audio technology is expected to play a central role in the performances, making the run one of the band’s most ambitious live undertakings to date.
