Motionless In White kicked off their summer tour on July 14 at Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, Connecticut, treating fans to a pair of live debuts tied to their upcoming album, Decades.
During the performance, the gold-certified metalcore outfit unveiled their cover of Corey Hart’s 1983 hit “Sunglasses At Night” for the first time in concert. The track is set to appear on Decades, which arrives July 17.
Frontman Chris Motionless has previously described the cover as a longtime passion project, revealing that he had wanted to record his own version of the song for more than a decade before finally bringing it to life.
The evening also featured another notable first. Motionless In White welcomed Skylar Grey to the stage for the live debut of their collaborative single “R.I.P.” The song will likewise appear on Decades and marked the first time the artists have performed it together in front of an audience.
Motionless In White will spend the next month on the road alongside Lorna Shore, Fit For A King, and Static Dress.
