Mushroomhead has officially launched their new single “Fall In Line” along with the accompanying video below, directed by the band’s own Steve ‘Skinny’ Felton. The track is featured on the band’s upcoming ninth studio album, Call The Devil, which is scheduled for release on August 9th through Napalm Records.
The album marks the return of guitarist Dave ‘Gravy’ Felton, who contributed to the writing of two songs. Once again, the band enlisted Matt Wallace to mix the album, known for his work on Mushroomhead‘s 2003 album XIII and their 2020 release A Wonderful Life. Additionally, mastering duties were handled by Jacob Hansen (known for his work with Volbeat, Epica, and Arch Enemy).
Steve “Skinny” Felton, the band’s drummer and mastermind, offered the following on the latest single:
“One of my favorite things about the ‘Fall In Line‘ video is the use of the color red. It’s a powerful and emotional color palette. ‘Fall In Line‘ was actually the last song we recorded for the LP. It came together really fast. Upbeat, aggressive and fun.”
