Festival-goers at today’s ‘Louder Than Life’ in Louisville, KY were the first to learn that My Chemical Romance will headline next year’s ‘Welcome To Rockville,’ ‘Sonic Temple,’ and ‘Louder Than Life’ festivals. The reveal came via a video package and a performance from a local marching band, confirming the emo icons’ return to the Danny Wimmer Presents festival circuit.
Much like their current tour, the New Jersey band’s festival sets will spotlight their 4x platinum 2006 album “The Black Parade.”
The 2026 edition of ‘Welcome To Rockville’ is set for May 07th–10th at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, FL. ‘Sonic Temple’ will follow May 14th–17th at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH. Dates for next year’s ‘Louder Than Life’ have not yet been revealed.
Footage of the announcement, which took place earlier today onstage at ‘Louder Than Life,’ can be seen below. In addition, this week has brought more teases of possible 2026 stops for the band’s ‘Long Live The Black Parade Tour.’
