My Chemical Romance crossed another song off their live bucket list over the weekend, giving “AMBULANCE” its long-awaited live debut during the band’s performance at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow, Scotland on July 4.
The song arrived roughly 20 tracks into the set during the encore, which followed the band’s performance of The Black Parade in full. Despite being released more than a decade ago, “AMBULANCE” had never been performed live until now.
Originally released in 2013 as part of Conventional Weapons, the track was one of several songs recorded for a scrapped studio album before eventually being compiled into the fan-favorite release.
Fan-filmed footage of the debut performance has surfaced online, capturing the historic moment for longtime My Chemical Romance fans.
The band’s The Black Parade European and UK tour continues with the following dates:
- July 8 – London, England – Wembley Stadium (with Skunk Anansie)
- July 10 – London, England – Wembley Stadium (with Joan Jett)
- July 11 – London, England – Wembley Stadium (with Sunny Day Real Estate)
- July 15 – Florence, Italy – Visarno Arena (with Interpol)
- July 18 – Madrid, Spain – Iberdrola Music (with Mogwai)
