Nails has announced the long-awaited follow-up to their 2016 album, You Will Never Be One Of Us. The band’s upcoming release is titled Every Bridge Burning and is set for a release through Nuclear Blast on August 30th. The album was also produced by Kurt Ballou of Converge at GodCity Studio in Salem, MA
Todd Jones, the band’s linchpin, has been joined by Carlos Cruz (Warbringer) on drums, Andrew Solis on bass, and guitarist Shelby Lermo for this revitalized lineup. Jones would offer the following:
“This band was modeled after some of my favorite bands; the type of bands where, when they put out an album, you know what it’s going to sound like. It’s the delivery of the expectation.”
The track will be the first track on the album, with Jones offering:
“‘Imposing Will‘ is special to the record in that I knew we wanted it to be the opener. We wanted it to have the effect of an urgency; an immediacy in the music itself. When you push play, you get smacked in the face.”
