D.C. grindcore outfit No/Más have released the title track from their forthcoming album, No Peace, serving as the third single ahead of the album’s March 13 release via Redefining Darkness Records. Vocalist Roger Rivadeneira discussed the track’s evolution:
“That song was written a few years before the rest of the album, so its lyrical roots come from a different place. It began as a hate-fueled track about a former band member, but as the album shifted toward an anti-war focus, the lyrics naturally evolved with that direction. Working on the song made me realize that what I hate more than people who pretend to be your friend is the government that starves our country — and it allowed me to redirect my anger toward the real enemy.”
The track showcases No/Más’ signature blend of aggressive grindcore riffs and politically charged lyricism, highlighting the band’s ability to transform personal anger into a broader critique of societal issues.
The band will be supporting the album with a massive U.S. tour alongside Exhumed and Oxygen Destroyer, hitting the following cities:
