Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes Shares Studio Footage Re-Recording ‘Count Your Blessings’ Vocals

Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes has shared a behind-the-scenes look at himself re-recording the deathcore vocals from the band’s 2006 debut for the upcoming 20th anniversary release, ‘Count Your Blessings | Repented’.

The anniversary edition sees Sykes and guitarist Lee Malia fully re-record the album alongside mixer Buster Odeholm. The reworked version is due out July 10th and has been described as a heavier, sharper take on the original material.

Alongside the newly shared footage, Sykes reflected on revisiting the band’s earliest material, writing:

“Took me a minute to work out how to do some of this shit again. Very excited to share CYB repented with u i think we did you all proud. it’s so nice to see all the love and nostalgia too thank you so much.” 🎤🔥

A press release for the project describes ‘Count Your Blessings | Repented’ as:

“Reborn, sharper, heavier and more vital than ever.”

The upcoming release follows the recent announcement that Bring Me The Horizon will perform the album in full twice this summer at Manchester’s B.E.C. Arena, with shows scheduled for July 10th and 11th.
