Orbit Culture have unveiled a new music video for “Nuclear God,” a track originally released as a bonus on the Japanese edition of the Swedish melodeath/groove metal band’s latest album, ‘Death Above Life’.
The song will now receive a wider release as part of the upcoming deluxe edition of ‘Death Above Life’, which is scheduled to arrive on October 9.
The accompanying video was created using footage captured during Orbit Culture’s summer festival appearances, with Riivata assembling the clips into a visual tribute to the band’s fans and the community surrounding the group.
Orbit Culture commented:
“‘Nuclear God’ was originally released as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of ‘Death Above Life’. When we started going through all the footage we had gathered from the summer festivals, we wanted to turn it into something that felt like a tribute to our fans and the community that has grown around this band. The relentless chaos of ‘Nuclear God’ perfectly matched those moments. Riivata took all of that footage and brought it together into the video you see today.”
The deluxe edition of ‘Death Above Life’ will feature three other bonus tracks alongside “Nuclear God”: “Spiral Head,” “The Form Not Meant To Be” and “The Path I Walk,” which features Tina Guo.
Orbit Culture will also have plenty of time on the road to support the expanded album, with European dates booked alongside Amon Amarth and Soilwork, followed by a North American run with Trivium, In Flames and Frozen Soul.
