Post Malone, Guns N’ Roses & Red Hot Chili Peppers Members Honor Ozzy Osbourne At The 2026 GRAMMY Awards

A powerful musical tribute was held in honor of the late heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne during tonight’s (February 1st) GRAMMY Awards ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA. The performance took place as part of the annual In Memoriam segment, which recognizes artists and industry figures who passed away over the previous year.

Osbourne’s widow Sharon, along with children Jack and Kelly, were visibly emotional as the tribute unfolded. The legendary frontman passed away in July of 2025 after suffering a heart attack following a prolonged battle with illness.

Leading the performance was Post Malone, who previously collaborated with Osbourne on tracks from the metal legend’s final era. He was joined onstage by Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash and bassist/vocalist Duff McKagan, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, and producer/multi-instrumentalist Andrew Watt. Watt notably played a central role in shaping Osbourne’s final two studio albums.

Together, the group delivered a stirring rendition of the Black Sabbath classic “War Pigs,” serving as a fitting salute to the Prince Of Darkness and his enduring influence across generations and genres of music.
