    311 Bassist P-Nut Says Donald Trump’s Actions Are ‘Antichrist’: “Trump Is Evil, Always Has Been”

    311 bassist Aaron Wills (aka P-Nut) has sparked fresh controversy after posting a strongly worded political statement aimed at Donald Trump.

    The outspoken musician took to Instagram on April 13th to share a video condemning the current U.S. President, calling out what he described as troubling recent behavior. His comments referenced multiple headlines from the past week, including a Truth Social post in which Trump threatened severe action toward Iran, as well as backlash surrounding an AI-generated image allegedly depicting him in a Christ-like role.

    P-Nut’s remarks arrive years after internal friction within the band made headlines, including controversy surrounding drummer Chad Sexton and his public political views back in 2022.

    In the newly posted clip, Wills didn’t hold back, directly urging fans to reconsider their support:

    “Within a week, this president… has threatened to destroy a civilization… and within the same week, he has put up a post depicting himself as Christ… that’s something the Antichrist would do.”

    He continued by criticizing Trump’s leadership and motivations, framing the situation as a clear-cut issue regardless of political affiliation:

    “He is not looking out for your best interests. Trump is evil, always has been. He’s looking out for himself.”

    Wills also pointed to Iran’s historical and cultural significance while condemning rhetoric about its destruction, urging followers to think beyond partisan lines.

    “This is easy… You don’t have to be right or left. Just stop supporting Trump, please.”

    The comments have quickly gained traction online, adding another chapter to the ongoing intersection of politics and the music world—something 311 themselves have not always been able to avoid.

Many people, myself included, have disliked this person for ages. As a child in the 80s, I disliked him. He was a creep, was shady and only cared about money over anyone or anything. What shocks me is that people act like this is all new, like no one was ever opposed to him before his political start. The people with their head in the sand think that.
