Back in August 2024, Papa Roach reimagined their suicide prevention and mental health anthem “Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark)”, this time teaming up with country superstar Carrie Underwood. The collaboration pledged all royalties to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, strengthening the song’s message of hope and awareness.
Originally released in 2022, the updated version has now reached a major milestone. On September 10th, 2025, the track was officially certified Gold in the United States by the RIAA, signifying over 500,000 units earned through sales and streaming.
This achievement not only underscores the impact of the song itself, but also highlights the powerful cause behind it—bringing awareness, support, and funding to suicide prevention efforts.
