PeelingFlesh are giving fans another taste of their upcoming full-length with the release of “Murderous Intent.”
The Oklahoma-based slamming gangster groove outfit have also revealed that their forthcoming self-titled album is now set for release on November 27 through Unique Leader Records.
“Murderous Intent” features a guest appearance from Mike Ryan of Missing Link, bringing together the Oklahoma and New York scenes on one particularly brutal track.
“It’s ruthless and vicious. Solidifying that Oklahoma/New York connection.”
The new album has been in the works for roughly a year, with PeelingFlesh frontman Damonteal Harris describing the record as a collection of some of the band’s heaviest and most ambitious material to date.
“This has been our baby for the last year. An insane mixture of drop G and Drop F songs that are some of our favorite and craziest songs we’ve written to date and we’re extremely stoked to get them out finally.”
The record was produced, mixed and mastered by Mychal Soto of PeelingFlesh, with Dave Otero, known for his work with Cattle Decapitation and Archspire, handling engineering duties.
The self-titled effort will also feature an extensive list of guest musicians, including Devin Swank of Sanguisugabogg, JayWay of Bayway, Bridget Lynch of Stabbing, and members of Extermination Dismemberment.
