PIERCE THE VEIL Release Official Video for Radiohead’s “Karma Police” Cover

Platinum-certified post-hardcore band Pierce The Veil have debuted the official music video for their atmospheric take on Radiohead’s 1997 classic “Karma Police”. The video dropped tonight, June 19th, and visually complements the studio version the band released back in April 2024.

The cover first emerged during a 2023 visit to Australian radio station Triple J, where the band performed it live for the station’s ‘Like A Version’ series. Fan reaction to the in-studio rendition was overwhelmingly positive, prompting Pierce The Veil to enter the studio and cut an official version.

Reflecting on their reinterpretation, the band previously stated:

“We are products of the 80s and 90s MTV era, so songs like ‘Karma Police’ live deep within our childhood minds. We dug this one up as an opportunity to indulge in something comforting and familiar. Taking inspiration from the memories and emotions the song evokes in us, we created a version that reflects where we come from as a band. We were happy to discover that the song remained haunting and beautiful even when fed through distortion pedals and loud guitars.”

This cover was also included as the closing track on the deluxe edition of The Jaws Of Life, the band’s most recent album, released this past May.
