Just ahead of the release of their debut album Vs The World, Colombian crossover outfit Poison The Preacher have dropped the official video for their track “Dying Every Day.” The song features guest vocals from Devin Swank, known for his work with Sanguisugabogg and more. Lead vocalist and guitarist Juan Pablo shared his thoughts on the collaboration:
“Our new single, ‘Dying Every Day‘, came from more of a slam, beatdown and death metal mindset. This was also one of the first songs that we wrote for the record, so it really opened our mind to what was possible with our sound. This is the song that gave us the idea to do the collabs, because we were writing certain parts with a massive growling, brutal deep voice in mind.
We immediately thought of asking Devin from Sanguisugabogg if he wanted to jump on the track. The worst he could say was no, but he was really into it and really supportive. I really think he brings that brutality to the song that it desperately needed. It’s really cool to hear his deep monster voice in a different context.”
