LAMB OF GOD’s Randy Blythe to Auction Autographed Custom Ozzy Osbourne Adidas Shoes to Support Osbourne’s Charities

Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe, known for supporting charitable causes through personal auctions, has revealed plans to auction a pair of custom Adidas sneakers signed by the late Ozzy Osbourne. The auction aims to raise additional funds for the charities Osbourne championed.

Following the monumental July 5th Back To The Beginning farewell show in Birmingham, UK — which raised over $190 million for causes including Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice — Blythe spent time with Osbourne just days after the event. During that visit, Osbourne signed one of the 121 limited-edition Adidas pairs made exclusively for the performers at the concert.

Blythe shared a heartfelt message about his last meeting with Ozzy:

“This picture was taken 10 days ago at Comic Con Midlands. I was with friends and got to spend about half an hour in Ozzy’s green room. He was in a great mood, still buzzing over the Back to the Beginning concert. I thanked him for having Lamb Of God on the show and mentioned visiting his childhood home in Birmingham. He grinned and joked, ‘Boy, I’ll bet that guy who lives there now is sick of hearing about me!’ It was great to see him laugh like that.”

Blythe continued, reflecting on Osbourne’s impact:

“Ozzy was a true rock ‘n’ roll madman — they don’t build ’em like him anymore — but he was also a kind and gentle man who supported my band and spoke out publicly on my behalf during my legal struggles. When you’re in a foreign prison and strangers say, ‘Ozzy Osbourne says good things for you!’ it makes a difference.”

Confirming the signed shoes will be auctioned off for charity, Blythe said:

“There were only 121 pairs of these Adidas shoes made as thank-you gifts to performers at the Back to the Beginning show. I told Ozzy I would auction mine to support the charities, and he was pleased by this. Details of the auction will be announced soon.”

Blythe concluded:

“This is how I want to honor Ozzy — for everything he did for music, my band, and me personally. Thank you, Ozzy. We love you. Show the world that love is still alive, you must be brave…”
