    Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe Says “F*** The Fascists. Do Not Comply.” In Blistering Essay On America’s Political Collapse

    Lamb Of God vocalist Randy Blythe has published a lengthy and emotionally charged essay titled All The Horrors Happening Around Us via Substack, offering an unflinching look at the current state of the United States — and issuing a stark warning about what he sees as the rise of authoritarianism, state violence, and moral decay.

    The essay opens not with rage, but with quiet unease. Blythe recounts a moment from March 2025 while walking in Los Angeles following the first leg of his ‘Just Beyond The Light’ spoken word tour — a fleeting conversation that would come to frame everything that follows.

    “‘It’s a rather nice distraction from all the horrors happening around us,’ she said.

    ‘Yes,’ I said, ‘and I think we all need that right about now.’”

    Blythe notes that at the time, Donald Trump had been back in office for only a matter of weeks, yet the language of “horrors” was already becoming disturbingly normalized. The woman he spoke with carried a copy of In The Garden Of Beasts, a book set in 1933 Germany at the dawn of the Third Reich — a historical parallel Blythe says now feels impossible to ignore.

    “How fitting, I thought — but probably not a good distraction from all the horrors.”

    ‘This Is Not Normal’

    As the essay unfolds, Blythe’s tone sharpens. He describes a profound exhaustion with what he calls the open moral collapse of the U.S. government, arguing that Americans are being conditioned to accept the unacceptable.

    “No, my friends, you are not crazy. Things are bad. Really, really bad. This is not normal.”

    Blythe directly targets Trump’s criminal history, economic policies, and foreign conduct, while also condemning what he sees as the erosion of democratic norms and the empowerment of violent enforcement tactics at home.

    “Do not let their lies make you despair of your sanity. You have eyes to see the truth of the horrors happening all around us.”

    He urges citizens not to turn away from disturbing footage and firsthand accounts of violence involving federal agents, arguing that looking away only enables further abuse.

    Thirty Years Of Warnings

    Blythe ties the present moment back to his work with Lamb Of God, explaining that the themes now dominating his writing are the same ones he has been shouting about since the band’s earliest days.

    Referencing ‘Ruiner’ — one of the first songs the band ever released — Blythe points out that warnings about unchecked power, bloodshed, economic exploitation, and authoritarian control have long been embedded in his lyrics.

    “I wrote those words thirty years ago, but it might as well have been yesterday.”

    Despite personal stability in his own life, Blythe describes living with constant dread for those who are not afforded the same protections or privileges.

    “Every day I wake up there is a cloud of doom that hangs over my aching head and heart, simply because I know my good life is merely a dream for so many.”

    A Direct Message To Artists

    One of the essay’s most forceful sections is aimed squarely at fellow musicians, writers, and creatives. Blythe rejects the idea that artists should remain apolitical, calling silence a form of complicity.

    “If you are an artist like me, do not remain silent in the face of all this cruelty, inhumanity, and corruption. Use your voice.”

    He also warns against being baited into violence, arguing that chaos would only serve those seeking expanded authoritarian control.

    ‘Fuck The Fascists. Do Not Comply.’

    Blythe closes the essay by dismantling the tired refrain of “shut up and sing,” making it clear that political resistance has always been central to his work — not a recent deviation.

    “Fuck the fascists. Do not comply.

    And the endless refrain of ‘shut up and sing’ plays on and on… what in the flying fuck do you think I’ve been singing about for all these years?

    I’m still here, and I’m still screaming.”

The malfiescent ethics of AI and their data centers impacts on human health overall outweigh any benefits. I won’t apologize for THAT stance whatsoever.

The fear of that prosecution and the prosecution of his whole administration, and their percieved need for retribution against potential prosecutors is driving their crackdown domestically and foreign imperial ambitions abroad.         Randy Blythe is worth around 2 mil, in today’s climate that’s comfortable at best. Especially, considering the fact that the most wealthy person in the US today is worth around 660+ billion. For clarity, that’s only 0.0003% of 660 billion. Randy has always been vocal about not only politics, but his morals and ideals. Money doesn’t change that if you’re a grounded human being. When a regime is overstepping or acting out of bounds of the system and is either kidnapping or murdering innocent civilians and children, it has gone beyond politics and steps into the realm of morality. You have to commend those who have more and still speak out because it’s a lot easier to slip into a dictatorship or authoritarian government than most people think. That’s why the “checks and balances” system exists.
