Reba Meyers (CODE ORANGE) Releases New Solo Track “Clouded World,” Announces First Headlining Tour

With Code Orange currently “on the shelf,” guitarist/vocalist Reba Meyers has been staying active, most recently appearing as the touring guitarist in Marilyn Manson’s live band. Now, she’s shifted the spotlight toward her upcoming solo debut with the release of a powerful new single titled “Clouded World.”

The track was recorded with legendary producer Steve Albini roughly six months before his unexpected passing in May 2024. In a statement reflecting on their time together, Meyers shared:

“Steve championed the medium of physical recordings, and that process inherently encourages the commitment to imperfection. I hope to embrace the randomness and grit of life, which includes our imperfections, as both their beauty and ugliness are often able to both inspire and teach us about our inner workings.”

Speaking on the track’s message, she continued:

“Too many aspects of the modern human condition feel entirely over-labored and orchestrated. We have drifted far from our primal instincts and have gotten so distracted by the myriad tools at our fingertips that we forget that our human imperfections are the one thing that makes us special and unpredictable.”

A music video for “Clouded World”—co-directed by Sanford Worth and Tony Aguilera—has also premiered and can be viewed below.

In support of her forthcoming solo album, Meyers will hit the road this August for her first-ever headlining tour. Support will come from Kimi Malka Hanauer and Ninth Cage (Year Of The Knife) on select dates. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 13th at 10:00am local time.
