Multi-platinum funk rock legends RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS will take center stage in the upcoming fourth volume of Netflix’s acclaimed animated anthology series, ‘Love, Death + Robots’. The band will be featured in the season’s opening episode, “Can’t Stop”, directed by none other than David Fincher (Se7en, The Social Network), who also returns as an executive producer on the series.
According to the newly released trailer, the episode portrays the band as animated marionettes mid-performance, capturing the energy of their iconic August 23rd, 2003 concert at Slane Castle in Ireland.
Season 4 of ‘Love, Death + Robots’ premieres May 15th via Netflix. Additional details on the anthology’s return have been revealed in a new piece from Variety.
