RESOLVE Forced To Miss Early Dates Of LANDMVRKS’ North American Tour Due To Visa Issues

French metalcore outfit Resolve have been forced to pull out of the opening dates of their North American run with LANDMVRKS after facing delays with their U.S. visa approvals. The tour kicked off last night, September 14th, in Montreal, QC, but Resolve were unable to make it.

The band shared the following statement regarding the situation:

“To our friends in Canada and the United States of America,

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we must announce we will have to delay our arrival into North America, therefore not being able to join the LANDMVRKS tour this Sunday in Montreal, nor the next few shows after this.

Over the last few weeks we have been facing unexpected delays and setbacks with our US visa applications, which despite ours and our team’s best efforts, are still awaiting approval to this day.

We are doing everything in our power to solve this as quickly as possible, but at this stage we are left with no choice but to cancel our appearances in Montreal, Worcester, and New York.

We are definitely NOT cancelling the whole tour and are currently aiming to be able to join it in Madison or Chicago at the end of next week.

We’ve been working towards this tour for months and are devastated that it has come to this, especially after having started our immigration process back in April and paying thousands of dollars upfront to ensure expedited processing. It hurts us not being able to perform for you all, both mentally as individuals, and inevitably on a financial level as a band.

Touring North America has always been a dream for us, and your support over the years has never gone unnoticed.

We can only offer our sincerest apologies to those who were expecting to see us perform, but also to LANDMVRKS, Novelists, Silly Goose and everyone involved in putting these shows together.

We will keep you all informed as the situation develops, and will fight tooth and nail to join the tour as soon as humanly possible. We owe it to you all.

This North American trek was already reshuffled once after Thornhill dropped off to support Sleep Token’s U.S. arena tour. Novelists were added to the bill alongside Silly Goose to round out the lineup.
