Falling In Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke has issued a new video statement after losing his defamation lawsuit against music critic Anthony Fantano, best known for his work on ‘The Needle Drop’.
The lawsuit, filed in August 2024, stemmed from Fantano’s controversial video titled “This Guy Sucks”, in which he heavily criticized Radke’s past controversies, behavior, and music. Radke’s original court filing argued:
“Fantano’s nearly eight-minute verbal tirade regarding Radke—whom the defendant does not know and has never even met—goes beyond the bounds of permissible commentary and extends into the realm of actionable innuendo, unfounded rumormongering, and outright untruth.”
While the case didn’t go in his favor, Radke used the moment to release a reaction video, directly responding to Fantano’s statements. The video, titled “I LOST MY LAWSUIT WITH ANTHONY FANTANO”, sees Radke addressing specific claims made against him, including serious allegations of gang rape, which he said were untrue or disproven.
At one point, Radke stated:
“I went into this lawsuit suing you because of this video and all this stuff… I went into this lawsuit, and my lawyer’s like, ‘You’re not gonna win this.’ I’m like, ‘I don’t care.’ And it’s all for this, man. So Anthony, I know you’re watching this… I don’t think Anthony’s racist. I don’t think Anthony is a gang rapist. I don’t think Anthony is a domestic violence person… What I do think Anthony is? I think Anthony is a pretentious, insecure little baby that utilizes people for money so he can pay his rent in a negative way. That’s what I think. And that’s what his YouTube has become.”
Radke went on to explain that his lawsuit was less about winning in court and more about having the opportunity to publicly respond:
“This video really pissed me off… It implies to people that follow Anthony Fantano and wait for him to give them their opinion that I’m a gang rapist, or that I’m transphobic, or racist. This is why I sued him… I knew I was going to lose the lawsuit. It’s not a big deal. I did this so I can say my piece before Anthony does.”
Radke’s comments about accusations of racism toward Fantano come after resurfaced audio of Fantano quoting a racial slur from a rapper in a past video. Roughly a week ago, Fantano released his own statement apologizing, addressing the resurfaced clip, and claiming that deceptive editing had fueled certain misconceptions.

No joke…he literally canceled a show in Orlando a few years ago because the AC in the building hte night before hurt his vocal cords, despite EVERY OTHER band on the bill playing both shows had no issues.
