Rush have officially begun their long-awaited reunion tour, performing their first full concert in over a decade on June 7th at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
The legendary prog rock band last played a full show in 2015 before concluding their farewell tour at the same venue. In a symbolic full-circle moment, the group returned to The Forum to launch their new era, kicking off what is being billed as the “Fifty Something Tour.”
The reunion marks the return of surviving members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, who announced the band’s comeback in October 2025. The tour also introduces drummer Anika Nilles, who steps in following the passing of Neil Peart, along with touring keyboardist Loren Gold.
While Rush briefly reunited for a surprise performance at the Canadian Juno Awards earlier this year, last night’s show marked their first complete full-length concert since 2015.
Despite the years away, the band delivered an extensive 24-song set spanning their catalog, opening the night with “Xanadu” and closing the main set with “Tom Sawyer” before returning for an encore featuring “Working Man.”
A highlight of the evening included “Time Stand Still,” which featured a guest appearance from Aimee Mann. Throughout the night, video tributes honoring Neil Peart were also shown, underscoring his lasting legacy within the band’s history.
Fan-filmed footage from the show has since surfaced online as the tour continues across North America, Europe, and beyond.
