Scene Queen has officially released her new single “Tracksuit”, with the self-described ‘bimbocore’ artist labeling the track as her heaviest material to date.
The song arrived online today, May 08th, alongside an official press release positioning the chaotic new track as a more aggressive turn for the rising artist, while still embracing the over-the-top personality and Y2K-inspired aesthetic that has become synonymous with her project.
Explaining the concept behind the song, Scene Queen stated:
“‘Tracksuit‘ is what would happen if you combined my two favorite things: y2k fashion and terror. The song is meant to feel like a continuous train of thought from when you bust in the door of your home and see a tracksuit that isn’t yours (imagine thinking Scene Queen wouldn’t notice a tracksuit that isn’t pink) to when I get arrested for murder.”
She continued:
“The message is simple: don’t cheat on Scene Queen because she is crazy.”
The new single arrives as Scene Queen prepares to head out on a North American arena run supporting Electric Callboy and Polaris later this month.
