Seven Hours After Violet, the supergroup featuring members from System Of A Down, Left To Suffer, Winds Of Plague, and others, has officially released their third single, “Alive.” The track briefly appeared by mistake on some digital platforms last week and was premiered on SiriusXM‘s Liquid Metal this week. Shavo Odadjian from the group shared his thoughts on the song:
“‘Alive’ explores the dual nature of pain and vitality, portraying suffering as a twisted reminder of existence. It captures the dark excitement of feeling alive through intense emotions, even when those feelings blur the lines between ecstasy and despair—a haunting space where agony and empowerment intersect.”
A music video for “Alive” has also been launched. The band’s self-titled debut album is set to drop on October 11th via Odadjian‘s Sumerian Records imprint, 1336 Records.
In addition, the band has announced their second live performance, where they will open for BABYMETAL at Audio in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on October 21st. Their first live show will occur about a week earlier during this year’s Mayhem Fest, taking place on October 12th at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA.
