Thrash metal legends Slayer appear poised to announce what would mark their most extensive touring run since returning from retirement in 2024.

The band have begun teasing an apparent Latin American tour across social media, with the initial reveal pointing toward five upcoming stops throughout the region. Cities featured in the teaser include:

• Bogotá, COL
• Santiago, CHL
• Buenos Aires, ARG
• São Paulo, BRA
• Ciudad de México, MEX

An official announcement detailing the band’s plans is expected to arrive this Friday, May 29th.

After initially retiring in 2019 following the completion of their farewell world tour, Slayer made their unexpected live return in 2024. Since reuniting, the band’s activity has largely been limited to select festival appearances and special event performances.
