Pro-shot footage of Soulfly’s performance at this year’s Summer Breeze festival in Dinkelsbühl, Germany has now been made available online through ARTE Concert, following its initial livestream.
The band’s August 15 set featured a performance of Deftones’ “Headup,” a particularly significant song for Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera. Cavalera originally contributed vocals to and co-wrote the track, which was written in memory of his stepson Dana Wells, who was also a friend of the Deftones.
Soulfly first added “Headup” to their live set earlier this spring and have continued performing the song throughout their touring activities this year.
