Southpaw FLHC have denied allegations of ties to Nazism after renewed scrutiny surrounding the band led Resistor and Resist LA to withdraw from the group’s upcoming fall U.S. tour.
The controversy stems from accusations that have circulated online for several months regarding a member of Southpaw FLHC allegedly wearing merchandise from a brand that has been accused of having ties to Nazism. The issue resurfaced on social media recently, prompting renewed discussion surrounding the band and its upcoming tour.
The allegations remain unproven, and Southpaw FLHC have now publicly denied that anyone in the band is a Nazi.
Amid the renewed controversy, both Resistor and Resist LA announced on August 8th that they would no longer participate in the previously announced fall tour with Southpaw FLHC.
Resistor stated:
“We have been made aware of the current situation and have made the decision to pull out from our upcoming west coast tour.
We deeply apologize to everyone who was looking forward to seeing us on this run, and we promise we’ll be making it out to you as soon as possible in 2027.”
Resist LA also confirmed its withdrawal, stating:
“We have been made aware of the situation going on regarding our upcoming tour. We will be dropping the tour. Sorry to anyone that was coming out.”
The departures prompted further discussion about the future of the tour, which was originally scheduled to begin September 29th.
There is already one confirmed cancellation involving the trek. The Empire in Reno, Nevada, announced that the band’s October 9th performance at the venue had been canceled.
The venue stated:
“Canceled. We’re not with that shit in Reno. We’ll get the homies in @weareresistor and @resist_310 out soon enough though!”
Following the backlash, Southpaw FLHC addressed the allegations directly in the comments of an Instagram post promoting new merchandise.
One user questioned whether the band planned to release merchandise associated with the allegations, writing:
“so are you guys going to be collabing to release n*zi merch like the ones that your members like to wear and promote”
Southpaw FLHC responded with a direct denial:
“not a single person in this band is a nazi. DEAD that shit. Take a look at the history of this band, our music & music videos. You will quickly identify the fact that there are mixed races within our friend group. There are also mixed races within our band members. Take a look at the last collab on our page with @deathmetalpanther of @deathpanthermedia, you think my homie would be collabing if we were?”
For now, the status of the remaining dates remains unclear publicly, although The Mosh Network’s sources report that the full tour has been canceled.
