Southpaw FLHC Announce ‘The Standard’, Drop “Rolling Stone” Video & Reveal Summer Tour

Floridian hardcore outfit Southpaw FLHC have officially announced their new album ‘The Standard’, set for release on July 31st via Spinefarm Records.

Alongside the announcement, the band have released a new music video for “Rolling Stone”, the lead single from the record and the first full preview of what’s to come from their next era.

The band described the track as a reflection on life on the road, personal sacrifice, and legacy, with a deeply personal dedication woven into its lyrics:

“‘Rolling Stone’ leans into the reality of living a fast life on the road in pursuit of chasing your purpose. Losing loved ones and pieces of yourself along the way are part of the game. In the process of moving towards your purpose, the climb feels never ending, yet time continues on. But as a man, you must walk that line in order to create your own path and legacy. In honor of frontman Daryn Lamontagne’s grandfather. Rest in power, Pops.”

Touching on the album as a whole, the band added:

“All gas, no brakes. Driven by hunger, discipline, and a relentless passion for the love of the game. This is The Standard.”
