Sleep Token have issued a statement distancing themselves from Arcus, a mysterious new musical project reportedly promoting itself as being created by a “co-creator of Sleep Token.” In a message shared to Instagram Stories, the British alternative metal band denied any affiliation with outside projects invoking their name or using it for promotion. Arcus had reportedly made vague references to a past association with someone connected to Sleep Token early in the band’s career, but those mentions have since disappeared from its social media accounts. The nature of Arcus’ alleged connection remains unclear.
