TEN56. Announce New Album ‘IO’ For September Release, Debut “I Know Where You Sleep” Music Video

ten56. have officially announced a September 5th release date for their highly-anticipated sophomore album, IO. The crushing deathcore outfit, fronted by ex-Betraying The Martyrs vocalist Aaron Matts, will be issuing the new effort through Out Of Line Music.

Arriving alongside this announcement is the debut of a music video for the album’s latest single, “I Know Where You Sleep.” Speaking on the track and its accompanying video, Matts commented:

“We chose to announce the album alongside ‘I Know Where You Sleep’ and its infomercial because it was important for us to give our audience a glimpse into the dark and twisted sounds and subject matter awaiting on ‘IO’. At the same time, we didn’t want to reveal too much about how far we’ve pushed things sonically. ‘IKWYS’ sets the tone — our music is as sadistic as it’s ever been, but this album is full of surprises. The rest is for listeners to discover.”

Further elaborating on the album’s overarching theme, Matts described it as:

“A journey that starts from being taken advantage of by certain people, through feelings of revenge and self-doubt, and ends in self-reflection and revelation.”

The band collectively added:

“With ‘IO’, we’ve taken the foundation we established on our debut and pushed that twisted, vulgar, yet vulnerable emotional rollercoaster even further. We hope people enjoy the journey we’ve created with this pivotal sophomore release.”
