THE AMITY AFFLICTION Release “All That I Remember” Video, First Track Featuring Jonny Reeves

Gold-certified Australian metalcore band The Amity Affliction have debuted the music video for their emotionally charged new single, “All That I Remember”, out today, May 28th.

The track marks a significant lineup shift for the band, as it’s the first to feature Jonny Reeves (ex-Kingdom Of Giants) on clean vocals and bass, following the high-profile departure of longtime member Ahren Stringer.

Lyrically, the song dives into the painful personal history of vocalist Joel Birch, who opened up about its inspiration, stating:

“My mother knew only abuse and isolation, even in death as she cut her own children off. She died as she lived, paranoid and alone.”

His siblings also weighed in, echoing the emotional weight behind the song. Joel’s brother Beau shared:

“Time and again, our mother showed us that she would put herself first, and use life’s pain to justify her actions of self-interests, while we were left to fend for ourselves.”

Their sister Chanel added a raw reflection of her own:

“This song reminds me how she would pit us against each other constantly, so much so I feel like my relationship with my brothers only grew after she was gone. When I was young, I couldn’t see it, I didn’t understand the manipulation until years had passed, and I crossed oceans to breathe.”

“All That I Remember” continues The Amity Affliction’s legacy of blending deeply personal themes with a crushing metalcore sound—while signaling a new chapter in the band’s evolution.
