Tommy Vext has officially revealed the musicians joining him in his newly launched project With A Vengeance, assembling a lineup that includes familiar names from the modern hard rock and metal scene.
The former Bad Wolves frontman initially pursued regaining the rights to his previous band in what he claimed was a seven-figure deal. According to Vext, negotiations with founding drummer John Boecklin ultimately collapsed, leading him to move forward with a fresh project instead.
Joining Vext in With A Vengeance is fellow Bad Wolves alumnus Chris Cain on guitar, alongside acclaimed shred guitarist Angel Vivaldi, who has collaborated with Vext in the past.
The rhythm section will feature drummer Austin D’Amond, known for his work with Chimaira, Bleed The Sky, and ex-DevilDriver, while Xander Raymond Charles has been tapped for bass duties. Charles had previously been linked to Ill Niño earlier this year before that arrangement fell apart.
The reveal marks the latest chapter in Vext’s long-running split from Bad Wolves, which led to public disputes and legal clashes following his 2021 departure. Last summer, Vext and Cain were already auditioning musicians through Bad Wolves cover performances — a move that now appears to have been early groundwork for With A Vengeance.
With the lineup now public, attention turns to when fans will hear the band’s first official music.
