Voivod Launch GoFundMe For Denis “Snake” Bélanger’s Partner Amid Stage 4 Cancer Diagnosis

Canadian progressive metal legends Voivod have shared an urgent message with fans regarding Christine McDonald, the partner of vocalist Denis “Snake” Bélanger. Christine was diagnosed in October with stage four colorectal cancer, and the band has now helped launch a GoFundMe campaign to assist with mounting expenses.

According to the band, the cancer has spread, though treatment is ongoing and has shown some positive signs. However, the process remains intensive and demanding.

Christine McDonald, the partner of Denis ‘Snake’ Bélanger, was diagnosed in October with Stage 4 colorectal cancer. The cancer has spread, and while treatment is ongoing and showing some positive results, it is intensive and demanding.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help cover medical supplies, travel, treatment costs, and living expenses during this time, as the situation has significantly impacted Christine‘s ability to work.

It has also affected Denis‘ ability to maintain his regular work commitments, as much of his time is now devoted to supporting Christine through treatment and recovery. Together, this has created serious financial strain due to treatment-related expenses and lost income.
