Tommy Vext’s New Band With A Vengeance Tease Debut Single “Shared Light”

Tommy Vext has begun unveiling the next phase of his career with his new band With A Vengeance, who have now teased their debut single ‘Shared Light.’

The project features the former Bad Wolves vocalist alongside ex-bandmate Chris Cain, marking a reunion after the pair’s previous work together. The lineup has also expanded with guitarist Angel Vivaldi, drummer Austin D’Amond (Chimaira, Bleed The Sky, Verona On Venus), and bassist Xander Raymond Charles.

A music video for ‘Shared Light’ appears to be in the works, with the band recently sharing a preview clip online. Vext also revealed that Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo contributed to the upcoming material.

Reflecting on the formation of the band, Vext shared the following statement on social media:

“This next chapter has been a long road. There was a time I thought I might walk away from music, but something in me refused to let go.”

“Reuniting with Chris Cain brought purpose back to everything we built and lost. Coming back together with Angel Vivaldi after more than a decade of friendship and two records feels like the right moment.”

“Xander Raymond Charles brings new energy and forward thinking creativity, and Austin brings that deep groove and power I have always loved. Working with Spencer Sotelo from Periphery pushed me to another level. These men reignited my will to keep going.”

He also thanked supporters who remained with him through recent years of uncertainty.

“To everyone who stood by me, showed up, bought tickets, and believed in me when it was not easy, you carried me when I could not carry myself.”

“I cannot wait for you to hear this record and step into this next chapter with me.”

The post also drew support from As I Lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis, who commented:

“I’m excited for this chapter of music and that you’re surrounded by people who want to grow!”

No official release date has been announced yet for ‘Shared Light’, but the teaser suggests the first full material from With A Vengeance could arrive soon.
