YouTuber Exposes Former Slaughter To Prevail Guitarist Robert Brown for Allegedly Faking Performances & Scamming Fans

YouTuber Jacob Hansen, known for his channel Jacobra Records, has accused former So This Is Suffering/Slaughter To Prevail/Entheos guitarist Robert Brown—better known as xkingofshredx on Instagram—of faking his guitar-playing videos. Hansen, who frequently analyzes guitar performances, released a detailed video breaking down his claims, pointing to inconsistencies in Brown’s social media content.

According to Hansen, multiple clips posted by Brown show noticeable discrepancies between the audio and visual elements, suggesting that the guitarist was syncing his movements to pre-recorded tracks rather than playing live. He highlights moments where Brown’s picking hand motions don’t align with the corresponding sound, as well as instances where sustained notes appear physically impossible based on his finger positioning.

Beyond the alleged miming, Hansen also accuses Brown of scamming a fan by selling a guitar but only shipping an empty box while keeping the money. Additionally, he discusses allegations that Brown ripped off Cerberus Guitars, further tarnishing his reputation within the guitar community.
