Zakk Wylde is bringing Berzerkus back for a two‑city, back‑to‑back weekend run this August, with Lamb Of God and Black Label Society splitting headlining duties. The festival will also feature a heavy-hitting supporting cast that includes Down, Suicidal Tendencies, Zakk Sabbath, and Dark Chapel, making for one of the summer’s more stacked rock and metal bills.
The two dates are set for 08/28 in Scranton, PA at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain and 08/29 in Wantagh, NY at Northwell at Jones Beach Theater. The Scranton stop will go even bigger, adding cover bands Fan Halen, Bonfire, and Use Your Illusion, plus festival extras like a car show, a battle of the bands, strongman contests, a hot sauce eating competition, and the Ride for Dime honoring late Pantera legend Dimebag Darrell Abbott.
Ticket presales begin today, May 5, at 12:00 p.m. EST / 9:00 a.m. PST, with the general onsale and VIP tickets following on Friday, May 8 at 10:00 a.m. EST / 7:00 a.m. PST. For fans of Wylde’s larger-than-life brand of hard rock pageantry, Berzerkus looks set to double as both a music festival and a full-on summer biker-rally spectacle.
