156/Silence Premiere “No Arms” Video, Announce New Album ‘From A Distance’ For September Release

Pittsburgh metalcore outfit 156/Silence have launched the next era of their career with a new single and video titled “No Arms,” while also confirming details for their upcoming full-length album From A Distance.

The band’s sixth studio album is set for release on September 04 via Pure Noise Records, with the project featuring production from Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, The Plot In You). The new record also includes a series of guest appearances across its tracklist, adding further depth to the band’s evolving sound.

A video for “No Arms,” directed by Errick Easterday (Wage War, ERRA), has also been released alongside the announcement.

Speaking on the new single, the band explained its themes:

“‘No Arms’ is about being without a way to protect yourself and what belongs to you. Being alone and afraid, not having any means to control the situations that befall on us. The overwhelming feeling of being helpless until we’re not. Until somebody saves us.”

Guitarist Jimmy Howell also expanded on the band’s approach for the record, pointing to influence from artists known for evolving their sound rather than repeating it.
