156/Silence released their new album, People Watching, yesterday, September 14th. Along with this fourth studio effort from the melodic metalcore band, they also dropped a music video for the track “Character Development”. Nick Chance (Enterprise Earth, Lorna Shore) directed the video, continuing his collaboration with the band after working on previous visuals.
Guitarist Jimmy Howell shared his thoughts on the opening track, saying:
“In the past, we’ve usually started our albums with long intros to set the mood. This time, we wanted to mix it up and kick things off with a bang.”
Vocalist Jack Murray added:
“‘Character Development’ is a raw start to the turbulent journey that is People Watching. It’s driven by anger, brutally intense, and laser-focused. Time changes everything.”
