Alien Weaponry Release “1000 Friends” Music Video

Alien Weaponry, the Māori metal band, have premiered their new track “1000 Friends” online today, February 19th. Reflecting on the song’s meaning, vocalist/guitarist Lewis Raharuhi de Jong shared:

“‘1000 Friends’ encapsulates the shifting way we socialize today and the impact it has on the human psyche. We often feel disconnected from the world around us. The human mind wasn’t built to comprehend the world we’re currently living in.”

The music video for the track, directed by Alex Hargreaves, is available below. You can find “1000 Friends” on the band’s upcoming album, Te Rā, set for release on March 28th via Napalm Records.
