Masked British nü-metal outfit BLACKGOLD have released their new single “KILLAZ,” featuring a guest appearance from rapper Woes, alongside a music video directed by Paul Foster.
The collaboration traces back to a chance meeting between the artists while BLACKGOLD were touring through Austin, Texas, in 2025. According to vocalist Spookz, that unexpected encounter eventually developed into a track that captures a different side of the band’s sound.
“‘KILLAZ’ feels like letting the mask slip just enough to show a different side of what BLACKGOLD can be. It’s bouncy, chaotic, full of attitude and doesn’t sit still for a second. Finding Woes busking in Austin and then ending up making a track together felt completely in the spirit of this band – unexpected, a bit unhinged, and somehow exactly right.”
The new single arrives as BLACKGOLD prepare for a busy stretch of fall touring across the UK and Europe. Their upcoming schedule includes shows alongside PENGSHUi, Indigo Blaze, Deadwax, and Sumo Cyco, with additional appearances featuring Hyro The Hero in Antwerp and Paris.
