Back in the late ‘90s, when Korn dropped “Children Of The Korn” with Ice Cube, they likely didn’t expect the title to take on a literal new meaning decades later. But here we are.
A new editorial feature curated by Jennea Welch—daughter of Korn guitarist/vocalist Brian “Head” Welch—has just gone live, spotlighting the next generation connected to the band’s legacy. The piece explores the lives and creative pursuits of the children of Head, vocalist Jonathan Davis, and guitarist/vocalist James “Munky” Shaffer, tracing how the iconic nü-metal group’s influence has evolved across generations.
Notably absent from the feature are the children of bassist Reginal “Fieldy” Arvizu, who remains estranged from the group.
The project arrives via Adidas, a fitting collaboration given the band’s long-running association with the brand. While Korn helped bring the Adidas tracksuit back into pop culture prominence in the ‘90s, the two officially linked up in recent years for several successful capsule drops.
The full story is available exclusively through the Adidas Confirmed app, but Head offered a brief teaser and personal reflection on the piece via his Instagram.
