Attila frontman Chris Fronzak has opened up about the band’s ongoing absence from the state of Nevada, revealing that the group is still not permitted to perform there following their controversial 2018 show in Las Vegas.
That night — August 22nd, 2018 at Hard Rock Live — became infamous after members of Attila reportedly clashed with venue security during their set. According to the band, the altercation stemmed from security allegedly using excessive force on fans in the crowd, a claim Fronzak recently revisited on X (formerly Twitter).

At the time, Fronzak commented on the situation, stating:
“Man I wish y’all could see everything I saw from my point of view. Of course the videos only show me after I fucking snapped. The videos don’t show these abusive motherfuckers that were choking my fans and powerslamming them into the concrete…”
The incident led to a lawsuit from security staff, accusing Fronzak, guitarist Christopher Linck, and bassist Kalan Blehm of “lunging after, punching, attacking, kicking, throwing objects at, and/or striking” security guards during the performance. While the legal outcome was never made public, the fallout appears to have kept the band from returning to the state.
Over the weekend, Fronzak confirmed on X that Attila are still banned from performing in Nevada due to that event. When a fan followed up by asking why the band hasn’t toured Australia in over a decade, Fronzak bluntly replied that the country is “too woke” for Attila to play there.
It’s unclear if Fronzak’s comment was meant seriously, but Australia has recently seen public backlash against certain artists. Falling In Reverse vocalist Ronnie Radke, for instance, faced criticism from city officials during the band’s Australian tour earlier this year — an example that adds context to Fronzak’s remark.

Well Australia is literally a dictatorship so..
Lorne Brooks Help me. I’m stuck in this dictatorship and they are forcing free healthcare, gun control and welfare onto me. Save me.
Kaydan Howison You mean arresting people for saying the government is bad, allowing people to firebomb political opponents’ houses (look up friendlyjordies) and following the UK into policing “wrong think”? Gun control doesn’t mean violence control, welfare and healthcare are paid by increased taxes same as Canada. It isn’t free
Lorne Brooks When you describe America.
Kaydan Howison Proof or bait. Pick one
Lorne Brooks says the person whose entire country is known for school shootings, white supremacy and an orange man that’s trying to strip people of their rights because they aren’t straight white men.
Ppl aren’t obligated to like you
It do be facts tho
Their music has been shit. Anything after Guilty Pleasures is garbage. When their drummer Sean left you could tell shit changed. They ain’t letting Chris “Fronz” in to Australia because he’s a felon and not because they’re fucking woke. Cry harder dude. Lol 😆
