Suicide Silence guitarist Chris Garza has officially confirmed his return to the band following a hiatus that began last year.
Garza, who stepped away from touring duties in 2025, revealed in December that he needed time away from the long-running deathcore outfit in order to hit the proverbial “reset button.” After several months on the sidelines, the guitarist and podcast host announced on July 21 that he is ready to rejoin his bandmates on the road.
His return will begin with Suicide Silence’s upcoming “Reminders Of Hell Tour,” which will feature support from Emmure, AngelMaker, and Synestia.
During Garza’s absence, Ian Waye of Soreption filled in on guitar for the band’s live performances.
