Dead Tired have unveiled “Dust Storm,” the second single from their upcoming sophomore album, Hornets Of Fall.
The track finds the hardcore outfit joined by fellow Canadian Andrew Neufeld of Comeback Kid, marking one of several guest appearances featured on the forthcoming record.
Speaking about the song and the collaboration, frontman George Pettit (also of Alexisonfire) reflected on the themes that emerged throughout the album while giving a nod to Neufeld’s contribution.
“Now that I look back on the record, there is a lot of nature imagery. Nature seems equally impossibly beautiful but also ominous and indifferent to life around it. Big break down and Andrew from Comeback Kid…what a racket.”
Hornets Of Fall is scheduled for release on August 14 through New Damage Records.
In addition to Neufeld, the album also features guest appearances from Liam Cormier (Cancer Bats, Bat Sabbath), Chris Cresswell (Hot Water Music, The Flatliners), and Dave O’Connor (Sweet Dave).
